What to Expect
Essential information for candidates
Arrival Timing: Arrive ~1 hour before the exam
For verification of admit card and original ID (national ID, citizenship, passport, or driver's license). No entry after 15 minutes of exam commencement. Candidates may leave after 1 hour.
Prohibited Items:
Electronic devices (phones, calculators, smart watches), jewelry, or any unauthorized materials are not allowed. Name on admit card must match ID exactly.

What happens after you take the exam
Result Publication:
Results are published on the same day in the evening on the NNC notice board and website (www.nnc.org.np), unless there are technical issues. No individual notifications are provided.
Re-examination Policy:
Candidates who fail can apply for the next exam, conducted three times a year. New application and fee are required.

Required documents and process
Application:
After passing NLEN, apply for registration to get registration license via the NNC portal with a fee of NPR 1,200 paid through eSewa.
Required Documents:
- SLC/SEE certificate
- PCL Nursing certificate
- Citizenship certificate
- Recent passport-size photo (same as used for admit card)
- Admit card
- Equivalence certificate and eligibility letter (for foreign-educated candidates)
- All original documents for verification

Late submissions: NPR 7,000
Payment & Application:
Apply online via application.nnc.org.np. Payment through Khalti payment gateway. Upload required documents (SLC/SEE certificate, PCL Nursing certificate, citizenship, photo, equivalence certificate for foreign graduates). Candidates who studied abroad after October 1, 2020, need an eligibility letter from the Medical Education Commission.
